Gabba Gallery is pleased to present Poster Pals, a two-person exhibition featuring the work of Los Angeles artists MAZZA and MUNK ONE. Curated by Jason Ostro and Elena Jacobson, the show opens Saturday, September 19 from 6–10 PM.
Poster Pals brings together two prolific artists with distinctive visual styles rooted in art, music, and poster design. The exhibition features an extensive selection of prints alongside original artwork, highlighting the craftsmanship and imagination behind each artist’s distinctive style.
MAZZA brings his bold, instantly recognizable style to Poster Pals, with work that blends detailed illustration, strong characters, and a love of music and pop culture. His images are playful, expressive, and full of details that reward a closer look. Poster Pals features a wide-ranging selection of MAZZA prints as well as original works, giving viewers the opportunity to see both the finished editions and the hand-drawn work behind his distinctive style.
MUNK ONE is a Los Angeles-based artist and illustrator with a distinctive body of work spanning art and music. Known for his highly detailed imagery and unmistakable visual language, he has created artwork for an impressive range of musicians and cultural icons. For Poster Pals, MUNK ONE presents a selection of screen-printed posters from his collection alongside never-before-released original drawings and a few surprises.
Together, MAZZA and MUNK ONE celebrate the poster as an art form in its own right—accessible, collectible, and capable of transforming illustration into something iconic. Poster Pals offers fans of both artists a chance to see a substantial collection of their work side by side, including pieces rarely or never before exhibited.
Poster Pals opens with a public reception on Saturday, September 19 from 6–10 PM at Gabba Gallery, 235 S. Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles. The exhibition remains on view through October 10, 2026.
