Warren Jacobson has been working as a visual artist for many years. His recent works encompass a new focus by combining his traditional oil painting skills with his personal documentary-style photography. Warren currently resides on Long Island’s North Shore, about 25 miles from New York City, on an isthmus, connecting Centre Island to Oyster Bay. This locale, its inhabitants, and visitors are often the subject of his artworks. He has found a sanctuary that is his special place; his homeland. Warren searches for serene imagery in his world and the people and places he encounters.
